Michael Schiermeyer | AX Technical Specialist

Michael started his AX career in 2010 with a well-known food and retail gold partner in 2010.  Having been involved with over 10 different AX implements, his development expertise has a very broad range – from Warehousing and distribution to an entirely customized talent agency implementation.  Always staying ahead of the technology curve, Michael was responsible for the data upgrade in one of the very first 2012 upgrades to go live in the US via the TAP program.  Similarly, he also took part in upgrading the code and rewriting integrations for the one of the very first 2012 to AX7 upgrades to take place in the US.  Michael has found his expertise in developing integrations, upgrade paths, and financial reporting.


He is a Microsoft Certified Dynamics Specialist and MCP.


Relevant Projects


  • Developer on a 14 month project to upgrade from 2012 to AX7.1.  Key responsibility involved upgrading code and integrations to new D365 framework.  This required reworking form designs, reworking integrations, and moving code out of locked models while maintaining functionality.  Also responsible for developing the data entities and rewriting queries to be used with existing BI requirements.
  • Developer for an ax 2012 reimplementation from 2009.  Represented the warehousing/distribution end user’s interests and lowered their costs by handling the majority of development work over the course of 9 months.  Also responsible for importing all of their data using DMF and continued support post go live. 
  • Developer for large electronics refurbishing company using 2012.  Worked on several challenging integration requirements.  The client found Michael’s expertise in financial reporting invaluable especially when reconciling their complex scenarios.
