One thing that is true of virtually every company I've spoken with, is that they feel they are unique. This can be their philosophy, culture, price, delivery, or their dedication to good customer service. They feel there are specific characteristics that give them their competitive advantage. I agree! What we have to determine is this a perceived difference or an actual difference. In the case of an actual difference, it is important to give it special consideration. This may create the company's strategic advantage.
